Patient Participation Group (PPG)
The Botolph Bridge Patient Participation Group (PPG) is run by patients for patients.
Patients' views and needs are taken into account in the process of managing the practice - especially in areas where the patients feel that improvements can be made.
Patients themselves participate in self-care and health promotion programmes in the community.
If you wish to be involved, please ask for more information at reception and your details will passed onto our
Deputy Practice Manager Kim Rolt.
PPG meetings are open to all patients and we are particularly keen to make sure that it is representative of all patients. If you belong to a minority group within our registered patients, and are willing to seek the opinions of others like you and to represent their opinions, we would be especially pleased to hear from you.
I'm writing this as the current chairman of Botolph Bridge Community Health Centre PPG.
This is posted on Sugar Way Residents, Woodston Folk and Botolph Green Residents Association, as that is where the vast majority of patients live, notices are also appearing in the surgery, thank you in advance to all the page moderators.
The contract for the Botolph Bridge GP Service went to a new organisation in December 2021 having spent a lot of time and effort in picking up the reins they are now, with a new, recently appointed, management team keen to get an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) running once again.
There will be an open patient meeting on July 12th at 19.00 at the surgery premises the main purpose of which will be to find volunteers to join the PPG.
Please keep an eye out on our website and reception for upcoming dates.
